‘’Pore vacuums certainly can be an effective tool in helping to regularly clear pore congestion,” says Dr. Reszko. a New York City-based board-certified dermatologist.
''It’s pretty simple — pore vacuums are handheld suction devices with interchangeable tips. When placed over a “congested” area of the skin, the suction helps release keratin plugs, the dermatology name for blackheads.''says Dr. Zenovia Gabriel, a board certified dermatologist and hormonal skin care expert.

Questions asked by our customers: 🧐
✔ Are Pore Vacuums Effective at Clearing Pores and Blackheads?
“Pore vacuums certainly can be an effective tool in helping to regularly clear pore congestion, however they're not essential component to a skincare routine,” says Dr. Reszko. Because pores will naturally clog again, she adds that they're are “a temporary solution” and “should be used occasionally in conjunction with a proper skin care routine.”
✔ How Do Pore Vacuums Work?
Unlike topical skincare products that exfoliate or dissolve the sebum, dead skin, dirt, and other impurities, pore vacuums use suction to physically extract the gunk before your eyes. (If you want to see one in action, the YouTube videos in this story are up close and personal but not overly graphic )
Before using the pore vacuum, you’ll want to gently steam your skin either with a warm, damp towel or in the shower. (Although pores don’t technically open, this step helps loosen the sebum.) Then, place the pore vacuum on an area of the skin with congested pores—the nose, for example—starting on the lowest setting.
✔ Does it hurt?
No! We have 3 modes to adjust the sunction power to your skin.
✔ Is there a warranty?
Yes, we have 2 years guarentee!
✔ Do dermatologists recommend pore vacuums?
According to board-certified dermatologists Joshua Zeichner, MD and Lily Talakoub, MD, the answer is generally yes.
✔ How many times a week should you use a pore vacuum?
It's recommended that you use pore cleansers around two to three times a week. Using a pore cleansing tool every day is not only tedious but might also cause other infections and inflammations.
✔ Are pore vacuums bad for your skin?
Not if you’re gentle. Keeping the vacuum on one spot for too long or turning the suction up too high can cause bruising, broken blood vessels, or dilated blood vessels that can make matters worse and lead to even more inflammation.
💆♀️ Step by Step: Here’s how you use a pore vacuum
First, wash that gorgeous face. Preferably with a deep cleanser. You can also steam your face with a personal steamer or in the shower to loosen up any debris.
Dry your face really, really well.
Choose a clean, sanitized nozzle, turn your pore vacuum on, and set it on the lowest suction setting.
Gently place the suction tip on the affected area and begin targeting clogged pores, moving the vacuum with purpose in smooth, elongated patterns.
Keep moving around the affected areas, making sure not to leave it on any one spot for too long.
All done? Admire your work (isn’t that half the reason you bought this thing?) and clean any debris from the nozzle. Sanitize it with alcohol and resist the urge to pick up the vacuum again for another week.
Blackheads be gone! 🎈🎈
TIP: To keep your pores clear of pimple-forming gunk, keep them clean and happy with acne-fighting ingredients like salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, clindamycin, retinols and sulfur-based product.
